  Re: Republic Interceptor

(...) Looks great as always, Dan. I particularly like how you tucked the missiles in under the bottom. It does kinda look like a Star Wars relative of the Nasal Avenger. :) -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Republic Interceptor

(...) Very *very* cool Dan (but then, aren't all of your ships cool like that?). It actually reminds me just a bit of your Nasal Avenger, oddly ... I wouldn't've noticed the TIE/Y-wing heritage if you hadn't pointed it out, but I think the (...) (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Republic Interceptor

Greetings! Here's a vertical saucer styled spaceship in the Star Wars theme... (2 URLs) I designed the engines first. I was going for a fusion of the Y-Wing and TIE Interceptor designs. Then I made the fuselage with the original LEGO Millennium (...) (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX) !

  Re: Star Wars III Sets

(...) Thanks Steve! Looks great, I have high hopes for this range. I wanted more droid fighters and my prayers were answered! That box is cool as well. Not sure about "light up" lightsabers. But we'll see. And lets hope that the Anakin is yellow, (...) (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Thanks again for your kind words, Eric. I'm doing my best; the pace of my work is not that good, though. But I'll get it done eventually :) As for technical details, it seems that wings SHOULD work electrically, as well as landing gear (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack

(...) Wouldn't it suck if Lucas DID show the AT-ATs being dispatched to Hoth, and it turned out they just fell from space like meteorites, deploying a bunch of balloons at a certain altitude so it could bounce and roll safely across the terrain (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack

(...) As much geek-appeal as that would have, I'm glad Lucas didn't fall into that trap. Part of what made the OT so good was the fact that instead of spending 10 minutes on a few details, he'd spend a few seconds on a thousand details. It has a way (...)   Re: Star Wars III Sets

The piece count seems off though; it's listed to be 71 on the box, and there's 5 or 6 more than that visible in plain sight (not counting unseen pieces that structurally have to be there). (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars)

Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack

My MOC is entitled "Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack". A phrase spoken to General Veers by Darth Vader upon learning that Admiral Ozzel had come out of light speed to quickly and the Rebel Forces are now aware of the Empire's Presence. This (...)   Re: Theed Courtyard

So...what are we supposed to comment on here? Your exhaustive collection of action figures? Maybe the vehicles....no...they are not lego either. Hmmm...maybe the scenery? Well some of it is lego, but much of it is not. I know you haver your (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

The Neimoidians randomly change the location of their residence in the city of Theed during the occupation of Naboo to counteract any possibility of raids by the rebels.   Re: Star Wars III Sets

Interesting! Funny how the photo makes the yellow look pale. The ovoid cockpit is VERY interesting! I'm a big fan of trans-smoke/black so this is good news for me. It also looks like there's a 4x4 decorated trans-smoke radar dish for the front of (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) thanks for the link. Looks like the return of that dreadful Droid Fighter part, now in sand blue. Though, otherwise intriguing. Jonathan (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.starwars)
