Re: "May the Transforce be with you."

(...) Um, yep, that's the one! Thanks! (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: "May the Transforce be with you."

(...) Thanks, Larry! The biggest trick was getting everything to line up so that the parts moved without bumping into each, and also so that they’d fit snugly up against each other in both modes. Adding or removing a single plate of height in any (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: "May the Transforce be with you."

Mike this is absolutely amazing! The X-Wing is quite a creature! Just like Larry, some steps of the transformation, oops sorry, the transforsation are not that easy to catch, and I think some of the pics lead to a wrong link. I am so amazed by the (...)   Re: "May the Transforce be with you."

(...) That may be one of the coolest things I've seen in a VERY long time. I'm amazed at the amount of hinging and rotating this thing exhibits. I hope I get to see it in person because there is a step or two I didn't follow. Spotlighted! (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

"May the Transforce be with you."

In an ancient time, in a distant realm… "Use the Transforce, Sir Luke!" Even though it goes against the natural order of things, and to do so could cause the very LEGO universe to explode and completely blink out of existence, I thought it might be (...)   Re: Age average

(...) Some person posts one post to it. Then that post shows up (on the web front page or as a new post in news readers), and then people read other parts of the tree and respond. That's my guess. (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

(...) OK, I'm a little slow on the uptake. So how does a thread that is 5 years old get ressurected? Mike (Sandman) (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

(...) In Logan's Run you would have gone to carousel or become a runner to find sanctuary. Being chopped up is another flick altogether. You would have been turned into yummy soylent green. Mike (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

Snippage (...) Either my math is off or you are in denial about your age. I was born in '71 and I'm 33. ;) Mike (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

Re: 2004 Alpha Team: The Good, the Bad, and the Jack Stone

(...) You could position the old finger-hinges in an "open" position as well. The only big advantage I've found for the click-hinges is that depending on variation of the click hinges that you have (earlier ones had really floppy click-action, and (...)   Re: Pictures of set 10131 - Tie Fighters squadron ?

(...) Ah okay. I figured it had something to do with non-mainstreamn parts of the Star Wars world, I just couldn't guess the acronym---I kept using "Empire" for "E"... Thanx, KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203, Ontario, Canada (20 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dominator-class Imperial Heavy Cruiser

Drool factor at 9.2 and climbing!!!! That is very cool. I only wish I had the skills (But mostly the money. ;-) ) to build such a fine imperial fleet and crushe a few rebellion insurgents of my own. *evil grin* I don't know about, but I wouldn't (...)   Re: Dominator-class Imperial Heavy Cruiser

Ouha! Excellent idea you had! I can tell if TLC was to release such a set I would run for it! I have no space or money for the ISD, the mini is not so convincing, but this scale would fit both my budget and my shelves! Thanks for sharing Burkhard! (...)   Re: Pictures of set 10131 - Tie Fighters squadron ?

(...) It's EU. This stands for "Expanded Universe" Put simply, it's everything Star Wars that's not in any of the movies. There are loads of comics and novels that take place in the SW universe, there are also lots of games and even a few cartoon (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Dominator-class Imperial Heavy Cruiser

Greetings again, fellow imperial LEGO Grand Moffs, Admirals and Dark Jedi all across the galaxy! ;) In order to make crushing bothersome rebel scum a less tedious and even more enjoyable task, I added new units to my fleet. You may have already (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space) !

Re: Pictures of set 10131 - Tie Fighters squadron ?

(...) Gah! Why the heck would they ever start releasing EU TIEs when they still haven't released a minifig scale TIE Interceptor?!?!?!? Currently, the only TIE Interceptor available outside of Japan is the UCS version. They don't even have any plans (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
