I actually did forget to take a shot of a pretty important step. It falls in
between xwing-14.jpg
and xwing-15.jpg,
and it shows how the two halves of the nose section of the fighter (the back
of the bug) rotate back before turning forward. Ive taken a new photo and
thrown it in there (xwing-14b.jpg).

| (...) Thanks, Larry! The biggest trick was getting everything to line up so that the parts moved without bumping into each, and also so that theyd fit snugly up against each other in both modes. Adding or removing a single plate of height in any (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
