  Re: Lando poll

(...) Whether they intended yellow as the final color way back when, keeping yellow could be serendipitous to underscore 'togetherness' as they described in the nba press release. Jeff (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando poll

(...) When TLC first annouced the Star Wars license I was hoping they would make the characters realistic flesh tones. As they chose to make all the (human) characters so far, in standard bright yellow (which is NOT a human color at all,) then why (...) (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Have you considered that licencing fees may be the reason for the inflated prices -Orion (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando poll

(...) That isn't really my opinion. I think the whole issue could be treated just the same as the 'stubbies' (short legs) thing. Before the 2002 sets, all 'figs were the same height. But it was too much of a stretch to represent ewoks, yoda, goblins (...) (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando poll

I remember reading an article in which someone from TLC stated that minifigs head were all yellow so there would never be any racist discrimination with the products, yellow representing a neutral color, even if most of us seem to think that yellow (...) John & All, (...) Ah, I don't think this kind of dialog needs to be in lugnet.starwars group. I put the follow up to off.topic.debate. Thanks! Scott Sanburn Member, MichLUG (URL) Page: (URL) Page: (URL) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Gareth, Sorry about that, here's the direct link to the page (URL) you get there by clicking on the droid icon to the left of the 'Welcome' and just below the banner on the homepage. Should be able to upload the page for it during the weekend. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando poll

Should be interesting to see if they break with their tradition on the upcoming NBA sets. Since it was brought to light that they will be producing minifigs in "the likeness" of individual NBA players, it seems pretty clear to me that we are about (...)   Lando poll

I've put up a new poll to see whether the LUGNET community would rather see a Lando minifig made in brown or yellow: (URL) Rev. Brendan Powell Smith (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Gamorrean Guard, too much green?

(...) Yeah, a hood on a brown face would've made a much better ewok. The Gamorrean Guard's hood is the wrong color when its molded (green instead of brown) so they could've just used a snape colored face and added a brown hood. This would also make (...)   Gamorrean Guard, too much green?

1. Personally I was disappointed with the EWOK and WATTO head-pieces. Looks like the Gamorrean is of the same design philosophy. Does anyone agree that MINIFIG heads with hoods/helmets/pouches/armour would have been a better approach than a solid, (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: LEGO Star Wars 2003

(...) There will never be a Lando! It goes deeper than you or me, it's a conspiracy by "the man" not the smoking man, but the other man. It's similar to the us coin conspiracy. Line up a quarter(old style, no states), dime, nickel, and penny. Face (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: LEGO Star Wars 2003
