  The P-38 Theme Hoverbike
 
Upon hearing of the P-38 contest in .space, the guys down at Moonbase County Hoverbikes deciced to pay homage and design a P-38 theme hoverbike. I have a lot of entries I'll be adding in the next day. If you don't see yours on the site don't worry. There will be 4 awards. 1 award for best microfig P-38 1st, 2nd, 3rd for everything else. (...) Yeah, I know my pictures are pretty bad. I tried the white background and good lighting for the Cylon Lightning, but even those pics came out a little gnarly. (...) The blue 1x3x12 wedges really give the fuselage a nice smooth shape that blends well from the nose to the "wings". I really was aiming for a very P-38 like design, but not exactly like a P-38. (...) Thanks for the compliments! I didn't mind the wing droop terribly, but it was due to a weak structure, not design, so I thought it best for the bricks to fix it. I might change that though.
