Have you ever read Space Viking by H. Beam Piper? I cannot see the words "Space Viking" without thinking of Lucas Trask on the bridge of the Nemesis. Piper had an interesting take on future warfare with faster than light travel but still using (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
