Have you ever read Space Viking by H. Beam Piper? I cannot see the words
“Space Viking” without thinking of Lucas Trask on the bridge of the Nemesis.
Piper had an interesting take on future warfare with faster than light travel
but still using projectile weapons and nuclear missles. Might make an
interesting basis for a faction (or series of factions as the Sword worlds
provided many competing bands of Space Vikings.)

I would appreciate any comments on the following MOCs and perhaps some tips and tricks for developing subthemes - like what do you focus on? Names, history or (...)
