An introduction and a question —Andrew Horvatits
Hello everybody, After over a year of lurking I would like to introduce myself and ask you all a question. My name is Andrew Horvatits and I am 11 years old. I am trying to build a capital ship like the Jr. Marshal's Kalashnikov, though not (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: An introduction and a question —Steven D. Weiser
(...) Welcome young man. I am also a young aspiring builder. I'm 41. But age does not count in this hobby. The first and best thing to do is look at the many Brickshelf space galleries that feature many small and large ships, including some very (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: An introduction and a question —Andrew Horvatits
(...) Thanks a lot. I have seen some stuff on brickshelf but not much. Your ideas will help a lot and I can't wait to show you it when it's done. (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: An introduction and a question —Leonard Hoffman
(...) Hello Andrew. Firstly, the Eastern Block is not evil. We desire peace and prosperity as much as the other great states of Space - however, we also strive to promote the interests of the proletariat against the bourgeois oppressors. So, in a (...)          Re: An introduction and a question —Andrew Horvatits
(...) I am sorry if I made it sound as if the Eastern Block is evil. I really meant 3vil and other factions like that. Everybody has differant views and i guess that entitles that the Eastern Block may rule as it wants to. (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: An introduction and a question —Chris Giddens
(...) PSHT! whatever dude. Take yer lines fer toilet paper and moldy bread and stick it on the south end of a north bound mule deer. PCS provides opportunity... them EBers... tons of cabbage pudding. (...) Andrew, welcome to the fun of .space. And (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —Allister McLaren
(...) mmmm... cabbage pudding.... (...) PCS philosophy at it's most eloquent. Allister (who has an EB mecha in progress) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —Andrew Horvatits
       (...) I'll remember that. Thanks a ton. (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —Tony Hafner
(...) Yeah, so get in line for your moldy opportunities and give up your cabbage pudding. Remember, with PCS "you can't have any pudding if you don't eat your opportunities". In the EB, the pudding is there for anyone willing to wait long enough in (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —Nathan Wells
(...) Welcome to .space, Andrew! I once built a lot in space until I got into Castle, but I still sometimes lurk about here. I too suffer from building with only the three Bs. My Katheryn is all brigde and bunks and bathroom with almost nothing (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —David Laswell
(...) Bricks. Lots of bricks. Piles of bricks. Most of the capital ships you'll see here could compete with the LEGO Star Destroyer in terms of piece-count. Anyways, if you want to get an idea of what should be included in a military cap-ship, look (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: An introduction and a question —Paul Baulch
(...) Welcome Andrew. First off I would like to say one thing, and that is please remember to put lots of things on the outside of the ship to make it look interesting too. Making a ship as a collection of rooms tends to make it shaped like a box. I (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: An introduction and a question —Adrian Drake
(...) Welcome to the realm of big ships! I've built a couple of vessels with large detailed interiors that consisted of more than just the three B's, although one of them was actually not a space ship, but a terrestrial rover. As Paul mentioned, the (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)
