  Bot contest entry

The Hummingbird infantry support bot, created for the bot contest. (yes, I know, "Hummingbird?" Its the best I could come up with) (URL) McNamee (21 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Lord of the LEGO still lives! (and he's got a MOC to prove it!)

(...) Hello. This looks pretty cool. It's an interesting shape, and the dual cockpit is nice. However, it looks rather unfinished, especially in regards to the engines. On a side note, it seems very presumptuous to call oneself the nick name "Lord (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) I just uploaded some (URL) on BrickShelf, there you can see the internal structure. (...) Greg? not Gil? :-p Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3rd CMC entry: Hoverbus

I'm most impressed with this MOC. It conveys a "clean" sci-fi metropolis style that I'm very much fond of. Also the sheer scale of it is awesome. The coloration is most pleasent and makes it look more practical and realistic. It's almost as if we (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3rd CMC entry: Hoverbus

The following is posted at the request of Niels Bugge, who is travelling and can't authorize his posts. (...) Year, they might be a little small (although it works fine in 1024x768), I made them in the two standard sizes I use on my webpage, so I (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Space Hopper, planetary patrol craft.

(...) Thank you very much for your kind words. I am not fond of the guns either, but at the moment I have this chrome fetish going on -- so I feel I have to put something chrome on every model I make :). Thanks, B. (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Space Hopper, planetary patrol craft.

(...) I saw this on brickshelf the other day, and thought that it was pretty cool. I'm sorry I don't have much criticism to offer, because this just seems like an overall, well-rounded and thought out MOC. I guess the only thing that might need work (...) "Kevin Blocksidge" <blocksidge@gmail.com> wrote in message news:I0o9Cr.1u7p@lugnet.com... (...) There'sa weird product line where the mascot is an evil rabbit called "Happy Bunny." The items range from stickers that have insults on them to tins of (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

The Space Hopper, planetary patrol craft.

I just finished the second, and I hope much improved version of my lobster -- as well as Blade Runner and ATOC -- inspired space craft. The ship is macro fig scale, with fully functioning landing gear, detailed cockpit, and engines, as well as many (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) Wow is this nice. I don't even want to think what the internal structue is like to get the SNOT to line up so seamlessly. The style of both yours and Soren's are truly food for thought. Now if there was only some way to hinge that canopy ;) (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) I know, and the grille in front would be in the way anyway, but at least we would be able to see that there actually were somebody in there, and the pilot would be able to see more stars. (what else is there to see in space?) win-win By the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) Thanks Daniel! Oh I'd like to have one more flag as well! But I won't buy 2 4+ pirate sets to get this.... one was enough (the coconut tree is one part :-()...! (...) Yep, you're right! I'd like to incorporate some "storage" for all the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: 2 New Starfighters- Kestrel and Bloodstar II

(...) I started out just toying around with the wing idea and developed the rest from there. My approach to mixing the 2 light gray shades of elements was to more or less evenly distribute them throughout the model. (...) I think many in the (...)   Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) I like it, it's pretty cool, has a nice bulk. I especially like the fins. I want it to have a pirate flag on the other side, though, given that the rest of the ship is symetrical, I want that bit to be as well. It'd be cool if the hull opened (...)   Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) Thanks Lenny! I am not sure this design is very innovative... the shape / idea came easily after seing your "WWII sub in space"... Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Pirate MOC : Captain Hairlock and his Torpedo

(...) Thanks Niels! I can raise the pilot a little bit, but his head won't fit in the canopy. Even trying as high as possible, his eyes would still be to low... Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Comic: Origins

(...) Thank you. No, I was not inspired by Monty Python. I believe we were both inspired from the same source, though: the brutal carnage caused by bunnies in the real world. I agree about the composition of that one pic, but there was little way (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
