  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) The modularity in the baby is too cool for words. The only drawback is that if this were ever released as a set, it would inspire a whole generation of children to grow up to be garbagemen! -nk (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: tardy civilian MOC contest entry: Black Rhino

(...) Cool! As a former heavy-equipment operator, I think you absolutley nailed the bed/canopy as well as the large rubber tires. I also really like the detailed chamber in the truck body; great for maintenance on mining equipment! Does this rig (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

  B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

Greetings! Okay...finally we have a Joe model that is actually more space than military! That adorable, impossible craft from youth, the S.H.A.R.C. : (URL) Let us know what you think! Cheers, -The BIJoe team PS. The page is a test alpha for a site (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX) !

  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) The smack just adds to it. I'm about half way down, marveling at the scale & the scene, the kitty attack, the requisite drowning hoo--- Oh. No. You. DIIIIIIN'T. (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Awesome MOCs from Der Krackhed himself

(...) Dig the tower - I have a couple of vehicles I'd to park there if the price is right. I REALLY like the Beetle; the curves really create the shape. The only thing missing is the flower-pot thingy in the dash - but EB probably has enough crop (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Gil, This is stunning. The inspirational value alone is great. I had reached a dead end on my entry for this and never finished it, but there are so many great ideas here that I have to go back and work some more on it now. Playability is one (...)   New canopies - Lego Alpha Team

Have you guys seen the new canopies coming with the new Alpha Team sets? Just spotted them at Toys R Us yesterday. They oval in shape but integrated into some opaque plastic sides, with a red tint in the center. What do you all think of them? -billp (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) Yeah - I'm thinkn' hover plows, bailers, rakes, corn choppers, etc. How about hover combines and harvesters? And then maybe some exotic implements for alien crops? -billp (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: tardy civilian MOC contest entry: Black Rhino

Nice MOC - with all of the hover MOCs, its nice to see some wheels now and then. Is digging equipment in the future? The energy requirements for moving dirt on moons the size of Earth's moon must be less, at least for the lifting of the dirt anyway. (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Thanks Joe! It's funny...normally I'm a planning, sketching freakazoid with MOCs, but this one just sort grew. I had been getting to the point where I wasn't building because it was becoming 'work'. After talking to some of our usual chat (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Thanks! I wish I could say the timing was planned for dramatic effect, but it was getting my thrusters in gear to finish it! I was thinking the same with the garbarge theme....I'd love to have some sort of moonbase processing plant that could (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Tanx mang! A more interesting face....oh if I had a nickle every time that was suggested to me IRL, I could buy and sell all your mothers like so much chattle. Since seeing the containers on the Ghoul, I've been itchin to do a ship that used (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Thanks! Comparison to Jon's stuff is some of the best compliments a feller can get. Interesting you mention the horizontal plane...I was thinking of that after I finished it, thinking that on profile it looks pretty flat. I toyed with the idea (...)   Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) Ha! Love it! using the black megaphones on angle to approximate that fragile looking front wheel the Deere's have looks marvy. Make sure it runs rampant over the .castle sheep during 'Fest.. :) Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) SuperWalmart Supermodule. Yeah, it'd cover the whole table and have one entrance to it :) (...) Tis a boy baby. And cute as heck too. Adrian (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Awesome MOCs from Der Krackhed himself

Lenny I *love* the convertible VW, but I'm afraid it's too capitalistic a concept, EB can't deal with it... Destroy it (hmmm no no no, send it to me) or you'll be sent to the Goulag. Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) Badly needed color? you talking about the multi-color bots? ;) Eric is a good friend of mine, I was just trying to keep him sane (although, that might be a moot point...) I've been to Eric's place, and that room he's got for Lego building (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) Oh, now ya done gone too far....I wonder who's gonna make a Wal-Mart moonbase supermodule now... and as for that project...well, I know you told me of a project back at PDX, but I'm keeping my mouth shut...won't spoil your suprise (I figure (...)   Re: Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

(...) I'd love to see a Moonbase trailer park, or something like that. I know some of the town guys have built trailer parks into their layouts. It wouldn't be that tough, I don't think, to make one with the spacers in mind. Thanks for the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
