Your Grand Admiralness Sir,
I do think it’s a cool idea. But I don’t have the ABS parts that have been
chosen, nor do I have any extra money to go onto Brickshelf to buy them. Yet.
I do, though, have this part in MLCAD called “technic seat 3 x 2 base”,
so I’ll consider my ass kicked into gear this month, and will MOC something up
to show my support of the idea.
Either way, virtually or with ABS, it’s an idea worth something to our
community, even if we don’t make something for the current month’s seedpart.
But here’s an idea for our co-curators: maybe for those of us not yet expert in
the ways of the Brick, you could name the seedpart with it’s MLCAD name to open
up another avenue of MOCing. Personally, if I knew it was available
virtually, I’d be more apt to build something even if I don’t have the ABS part
- which has been usually for these.
.Space is good. .Space is great. And your idea to kick start things is
well-taken, and well-meant. So please count my vote, as one of those still
learning many things but proud to be a .Spacer, as a yes for the seedpart.
But with the blast plate closed, I won’t be able to see anything!
Just give it a try, and see.
