Hey JHK,
A masterpiece eh? Gee thanks :)
Yeah I can't remember where the idea for the shape came from. But I remember
drawing it and thinking "cool!". I was actuallt a bit scared when I stareted
working with the off angles - I started off with plates but soon realied it
was much easier to just use brick walls and leave the back section all greebled.
As I said, It was an experiment into the use of tiles and such and I do
believe that it turned out quite nice. The colour also works well. It was
hard to limit myself on the dark grey - it was originally anywhere that
wasn't hull plating and ended up looking too cluttered so I changed a lot to
white.
Thanks for writing,
Zac

| Oh, wow. This is a masterpiece of utilitarian Lego. I just love the way you did the shape. It gives it the right feeling of a clunky but somehow elegent service vehicle. I love all the details, such as the thruster blocks and the arms, and the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
