Zac,

This is an exceptional MOC.  You did a great job with the detailing of tools
and thrusters while at the same time keeping it clean.  (the thruster packs
on the sides are really neato).

Best thing is the clean color lines.  Makes me think of old 70's and 80's
space concept art.  White ships with bright primary color stripes.  Very
cool.  It's too bad there's not a slope that will allow that clear dome to
sit flush (nothing against your moc at all!).  Maybe Lego will help us out
there ;-).

Excellent work!  Keep it up!

space.

Hi there, Chris,

I'm quite flattered that you like it. The tools took a few goes to get
right, however the thrusters took their current shape almost immediately. I
suppose that's the beauty of a detailed sketch before construction :) Whilst
constructing it I almost pulled the engine pods off off as I felt that they
cluttered the model up but they really are required to give it its feel of a
service vehicle.

I love the clean colour lines. This has been about the first time I've done
them and they really help to define the model and give it a cleaner look.
Yeah the gap where the dome joins is a bit disappointing. I suppose I could
have done it with some 74 degree slopes on their side but that would require
a complete rework of that section and it's not that big a deal.

Thanks for the great feedback,

Zac
