    Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
Bounty Hunter Blaine Cooper's personal craft. Fitted with four Ion Ramscoop Induction engines, two Smart missles and two forward LASER cannons. Main folder after moderation: (URL) 3/4 view with Blaine outside his craft (URL) a retrofit, Blain added (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc) !

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Nathan Wells
(...) LOL! Those are the smallest quarters I've ever seen! (...) tickets! I really like the engine; very big and powerful. Good greebles too. I like the the nice touch of the of the vent in the back (8x8 plate with grille). Engine's that big would (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
(...) Thanks. That's what I was going for. I figured, that the bare necessities are all that's required - and that's what he got. (...) I tried making the engine beleiveable. After seeing a couple of specials on PBS about modern military aircraft, I (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Bruce Hietbrink
Sleek shape, nice color scheme. This is just a beautiful ship. Bruce (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
(...) Thanks, it actually started off as a rework of <set:6890>. I crossed that with my Sylph ((URL) and an unpublished shuttle. The result was the Grimlock. -Duane (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Adrian Drake
(...) I'm not too hot on the exterior shape of the ship, it seems like it needs something to add oomph, but I can't really place my finger on what it's missing. I love the interior though. That's a great layout for the (teeny tiny) cabin, and the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
(...) Be sure to let me know if you do. I would love to incorporate more SNOT in my designs, but I'm SNOT deficient. :-) Until then, slopes are my friend. (...) It sort of came together because of space leftover from the engine compartment. I tried (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Travis Kunce
I love that engine area.... LOVE it. saw it on brickshelf in the last few days, and swore to steal some of your tech for Kane Starcrafters. Call it a case of industiral espionage or something. I may have to include a technic engine block in (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
(...) Thanks, I'm glad that the engine is a hit. (...) Well, you go with what you know.... Would you like some change back? ;-) (...) Actually, I imagined this ship being able to enter the atmosphere... So, yes. Sort of... A certain amount of (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Grimlock Interceptor —John Henry Kruer
Ooh, I love the inside of this guy. The cramped cockpit, with the bed in the corner and the space-conserving features, looks just right, and the job you did in the engine room is very good as well, it definently looks like an oversized reactor. (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Ralph Daigle
In lugnet.space, Duane Hess writes: [Clip] (...) Slick! Lots of fuel storage, fuel premix, pre-heat manafolds, plasma-flash injectors and a linear actuator to drive vectored thrust output. Nice work! (21 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Gil Shaw
I like the overall shape of this Duane...the Delta design never really goes out of style. My only suggestion may be a few more slopes along the edges to taper the edges a bit, but that's just a personal preference. The job you've done on the engine (...)          Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Duane Hess
Thanks, Gil. Do you mean sloping vertically, or longitudinally? I'm assuming vertically, since it would help cut down on the number of vertical faces and lend a little more sculpting to the shape. I feel like I'm getting the hang of some of the (...)         Re: Grimlock Interceptor —Jeff Jardine
(...) Nice! It's interesting to see something sleek on the outside with lots of detailed guts in the inside. So many MOCs have lots of exterior detail with a sparse interior. Jeff J (21 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
