    Star Blazers —Daniel Jassim
Greetings! I've made a sub-folder in my Art Work folder on Brickshelf devoted to Star Blazers: (URL) those of you who never heard of it, check it out. It was a cartoon series back in the late 70's/early 80's and is truly a remarkable pioneer in (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Star Blazers —Gil Shaw
The Yamato! The first spaceship in my childhood consciousness. Still remember looking bleary-eyed at the tube, 6:30 Saturday mornings for years. I've always wanted to build a Yamato, but of course it would have to be minifig scale and of course I (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) $1000? Maybe if you were building it in microfig scale, you could get away with that few bricks! I'm estimating that my new cruiser[1]--done primarily in dark grey--will probably contain somewhere between $10,000 and $12,000 in (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Star Blazers —Wayne McCaul

Not only that, but I can directly give credit for my space Lego building to Star Blazers and the battleship Andromeda. That (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.space)

Oooh...I think I see something familiar! :) —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) which is strangely evocative of Mark Sandlin's "Onyx" cannon: (URL) (though calling it "the battleship "Schlachtschiff"" is redundant.) Mark, have you been hiding a great source of inspiration from us? ;) best LFB (23 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Read "Obsidian" for "Onyx." The BT-I contest entry. Any relationship? LFB (23 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Oooh...I think I see something familiar! :) —Mark Sandlin
(...) Dang! My secret inspiration site has been found out! What's more, if you surf around on there for a bit, you'll find some models posted by the elusive Karim Nassar. (23 years ago, 25-May-02, to lugnet.space)
