k i have an innaresting question/fact...

i own multiple molded versions of the lego piece
that is

2x1 plate w/ two rods (1 on each side)

one version:
the rods are short and they are not centered on the plate vertically

other version:
the rods have rounded ends and
they are centered on the plate vertically

anyone know why?
or can anyone tell me more info about this anomaly?

Don't know anything on why and how etc. but the partnumbers are 3839a
and 3839b.
