  Space! Muster! Time for inspection!

Hey all, Just a minor update to my Odds & Ends page: (URL) Recently I lined up all my Space mini-figs for a "parade." How many Space mini-figs do you have?! Can you fit them all into one picture? For those of you who enjoy a little horror, scroll a (...) (18 years ago, 3-Feb-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Neoclassic Space Cutter

(...) snipped (...) Thanks for the photo advice. I figured it was along those lines, but I've seen some fancy 'automatic' starfield tutorials too, that I had little luck with. Also, I wanted to point out to you and the others reading that I found (...) (18 years ago, 3-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neoclassic Space Cutter

(...) Nice! The combination of classic space colors with SNOT techniques is very appealing. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (18 years ago, 2-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neoclassic Space Cutter

Excellent presentation! I have enjoyed seeing all the creations you have posted. This is no exception! Thank you. -eric (18 years ago, 1-Feb-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Neoclassic Space Cutter

(...) Aaron, Thanks much! I still think your creation has a higher coolness-factor. I'm currently working on another, a larger ship, that'll have more features than the cutter. Yeah, I like the NCS line. Way too fun. My techniques? It's all general (...) (18 years ago, 1-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neoclassic Space Cutter

(...) A most excellent addition to the NCS line of MOCs. Something about the shape reinforces the militant nature of this vessel. I especially like the use of the 2x2 trans-red slopes. Your photos, background and framing really make a fine (...) (18 years ago, 1-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Neoclassic Space Cutter

Many thanks to Aaron Sneary who's own Neo-Classic-Space creation started me down this road... Mostly utilized in cislunar space as fast-response vessels for satellite, space-telescope and other priority repair missions, a small fleet of Lunar (...)   Re: A Little Fun

(...) Jeffrey, Yep, you win the prize. ;o) I grew up in Seattle. But I live in Beaverton & Corvallis now. The MRSR was quite enjoyable... Thanks! -best, Wolf (18 years ago, 31-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(URL) ^ From Washington are you? Am I correct. And if so that would be the Mount Rainier Scenic Railway of which I myself have been on (with the Heisler shown in the picture being in Morton next to the lumber mill, for pulling the slow dinner (...) (18 years ago, 31-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  A Little Fun

Just seeing how much "mileage" I can get out of a simple model. ;o) Super-duper mini balloon tires, for the frugally-minded: (URL) Oops: (URL) Okay, you amazing train-buildy-people, I don't think I've seen an engine quite like this one out of (...)   Re: Here's One From Yesteryear

(...) Dave, Thanks much! Glad to know that people enjoy the approach. I keep studying the boxes and catalogs... That was Lego at its best, AFAIAC, though I do enjoy other eras, too. It seems, for me, the photography and image presentation add (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Here's One From Yesteryear

Hey Wolf, Aaaah, warm fuzzy Classic Space vibes in abundance. Not only is it a wonderful model, but your photography and composition are the best emulation of Classic Space packaging I've ever seen. Space-tastic! Dave S. (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Here's One From Yesteryear

I puzzled this out over a week, using just the parts from a Galaxy Explorer. The original design can be found on the inside cover of the 497 box. I've added a few details, but it pretty much matches the original as far as I can tell. Though, of (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neo-Classic-Space Freighter WIP

(...) Scroll down to the last picture on this page (the pictures at the top look like they use huge stickers to fake the upper truss structure).   Re: Neon Shifter

Excellent concept! I really enjoyed looking at the pics. It also reminded me of the 'underwater' dark room at house of bricks... Thanks so much for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neo-Classic-Space Freighter WIP

(...) Hey Aaron, For me, the essence of the appeal of Classic Space is in its simplicity. I think you've really captured that with this model. I love the brick work on the wings instead of plates. I've been trying to go studless with most of my (...) (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Latest capship

(...) Very nice. I'm normally a minifig-scale kinda guy, but this ship is a lovely piece of work. Has a real "don't mess with me" feel to it. (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
