Quasar I - Remake of the Red Sun

Some of you may have seen my (URL) Red Sun Cruiser>. Well, while bored in a school free block, I did a CAD remake of it, creating the Quasar I! (Note that I do not have this built "in the brick," but I will probably order some of those really nice (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Wasp Copter from Ghost in the Shell: SAC

(...) Tim, that is quite nice. I really like the rendering as well. Is it POV-RAY + LGEO primitives? G (19 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

I also am not familiar with the source but that doesn't stop me being very impressed with this excellent MOC. I love the sleek look and the various angles within the small scale are very well done. Great work! God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MINI Model No. 90!

Hello altogether! I'd like to announce my 90th Star Wars Mini Model.   Re: TanSport

(...) I can understand that. When I began building this I simply wanted to do something tan... and thus never thought about other options that much, though I still think the colours look good. I'll think about that for the next time. Thanks for (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) Thanks. (...) It does open but what is inside is pretty ugly. A carefully arranged fig with a big cannon could probably block the interior though. I might have to give it a go... watch this space. Tim (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) That's brilliant work, very true to the original. Nice little detail bit on that front landing wheel. Does the side door open? It would be cool to open it up and stick a little Saito minifig in there with an impossibly ginormous sniper cannon! (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) I'm sorry but since they're not really mine to give I can't. I did find a pic of the chopper though ((URL)) if you're interested. (...) Yep.   Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) Yow. BTW, Could you make those scans available? But yeah, that seems to be a very accurate version of what was in GITS (at least for Lego, anyways). I guess next on your list is the tilt-rotor or the AI attack copters (the ones that look like (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) Thanks (...) Credit for that goes to Soren. My original version was flat and he suggested the angling which greatly improved it. (...) That's what caught me eye about the original. Chopper with boosters is too cool. Tim (19 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

Very cool! I'm not that familiar with the source material (seen the show; don't remember the copter), but your helecopter looks awesome! The way the front of the chopper angles forward makes it appear quite aggressive. I love the duel rotors, and (...) (19 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)
