Photos are resized, and a few new pictures were taken including: the rear view, updated engine and grenade pods (URL) (after moderation (URL) (19 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Panther LRV

Yeah sorry about the large photos, it was only after that i uploaded them that i realized they were so big. yes the rear also has independent suspension (I wonder why i didn't take a picture of that). I don't really like the lack of detail that i (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Panther LRV

(...) Aack, instead of warning about the size, please resize them for us! Download Gimp or something. Anyway, on the model: I love the front suspension. No pics of the rear, though- do you have springs back there too, or is the independent (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Panther LRV

The Panther is a Light Reconnaissance Vehicle designed to assit ground troops on remote worlds where anti-grav units don't serve an advantage. The panther is powered by a newly introduced W-16, An engine with the power of a V-16 but about the same (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Malabar

(...) Thanks Tony! Grievous' fighter was the inspiration yes, especially with this (URL) artwork> from Kevoh's gallery. The lasers are a little bit difficult to move: I often end with the 8x1 plate in the hand. I didn't think the articulation I use (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Malabar

(...) Very cool. I like the pop-out lasers, though they look like they might be a bit tricky to actually pull out. I've never tried putting those windows together that way because of the thick roof, but you made it work well. The shape reminds me of (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Malabar

Once again I went for a red racer: Malabar. It comes with two small lasers, in case of. (URL) Click on the pic = Brickshelf folder once moderated. Let me know what you think (of it of course)! JP. (19 years ago, 11-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: CLPS Mail Ship

(...) Well, the thing about the doors is that if the ship is on the ground, in standard atmosphere, the crews would not want to go through the trouble of going through an airlock to get out; not to mention that the crates block the airlock. They (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Little Gyrocopter

(...) Now this is a) easy to do with the existing snotwork, b) very effective and c) prototypical so why didn't I think of it. Thanks very much for that suggestion I'll get started on it immediately. (...) I'm fine with that for trains (it's one of (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  ZOG3: EB Aircar prototype

ZOG3 is a copy of my old Nebula III, with the additions of EB colors, a gun, and a bit of clunkiness. (3 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Little Gyrocopter

(...) For the side engines, perhaps a stud-rearward section with the bottom of a 1x1 brick on the front. Or if you have a stud forward, you could use one of (URL) these> or (URL) for the intake detail. There are always tradeoffs between trying to (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Little Gyrocopter

--SNIP-- (...) Thanks for your comments Tony. Interestingly (although probably unsurprisingly) you've pointed out the two things I felt were weakest: the gun and the side engines. Unfortantely I couldn't think of any better way to do either so (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Little Gyrocopter

(...) The side intakes are really neat. Definitely keep that! More detail on the upper intakes would be nice. I like the look of the drooping nose, but it does hang awfully low. It doesn't look like the gun could shoot any where near level. The gun (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: CLPS Mail Ship

(...) I love the front half. The shape and color scheme work really well up there. The rear half seems to be really busy, with the different-colored cargo containers combined with the yellow/black striping. That's realistic, though. I love the (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) Wow, that's gorgeous. I see that it has a compressor... perhaps someone can make an air-powered cannon that shoots Technic axles. Now that's a hazard! (...) Stop that, you! (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) Thanks! (...) Hrm, yes, well... Range is a serious issue. With about 6-8 feet max, you aren't going to shoot it across the room at distant layouts. I was fortunate to be able to hit the Train layout at all. The Technic cannon is a very simple (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) I'll admit that it isn't very pretty. But it's a big step up from the prototype. Here's a shot of it just after I got it working. This version uses Znap flex shafts in a couple of places. Ew. (URL) WMD Prototype> (...) I love the loooooong (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) Glad you like it! I'm kinda hoping to have a couple of them duking it out at the next NWBrickCon, but we'll see how that goes. Mindstorms has some distinct advantages- particularly the smaller components. I don't have a lot of practice with (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.space)

  Little Gyrocopter

Hi all, I was browsing the CSF concept art section yesterday and saw (URL) this> little beauty. I really liked the simplicity the design and since I hadn't designed anything new for a while decided to make my version of it. (2 URLs) BS gallery> (...)   Re: CLPS Mail Ship

(...) Well... yes. If you look at this picture: (URL) You'll notice the five of this piece (One at each corner of the main hull, one at the end of the container section): (URL) They all stick out below the hull by about a stud and a half, providing (...)
