  Re: Spaceified Hot Rod Club

Incredible take on an all ready nice set (from the distant perspective of not actually owning it). I like it, especially the outstretching nature of the platform and the supports...though the colour brown doesn't seem very 'spacey'. The sign was a (...) (...) David, Thank you for the kind words. I have modified the craft since posting this thread, you can see the new photos in the gallery through the link below (once moderated). The modifications, I think, enhance the design -- I lengthened and (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Improved Space Combat Fighter

(...) Thanks Jeff! This fighter was an improved design on a fighter I built last winter. That gallery can be found here: (URL) design began life as an attempt to model a Colonial Viper Mark II from the new Battlestar Galactica. As you can tell, it (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Improved Space Combat Fighter

(...) Geoff, Thanks for the comments! I took them to heart. I think this photo illustrates what I did to smooth out the nose. Wanting to keep the vent/access point in the nose, I actually wound up extending the length of the nose one peg. I'm going (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Improved Space Combat Fighter

(...) looks like a spaceship that you'd see as a non-LEGO toy. (I mean that as a good thing.) I think it would be neat, if you have enough pieces, to make 4 or 5 of them, each with a different colored stripe down the front. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Abosolute Spacey coolness all around. I especially like the heavy duty jack holding up the yellow one. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  A ton of NWBC05 photos

Excellent photo spreads so far from attendees! Great jon everyone of getting such great shots of the event. I played the role of insane shutterbug this past weekend, and after sifting through the pics on my card I ended up with over 500 usable (...)   Re: Improved Space Combat Fighter

(...) Not bad at all. Looks to me like an improved Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper. I like the color scheme. It's a bit chunky in spots, like the fins on the back, but sometimes you're limited to the pieces at hand. Jeff (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Spaceified Hot Rod Club

[LEGOSet 6561] (URL) When I first heard the idea of a Spaceified Town Set, not only did it sound like a great idea, the choice was also really obvious, at least to me: at last I could make set 6561 even cooler. There is an obvious deviation where I (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Nanoscale LEXX

Dear all, I was reminded of the series Lexx today and discovered (URL) this image> which suggested a very simple nanoscale MOC to me. It is eight parts in total.   Re: PCS Medical Ship LL-M1 "Doulos"

(...) Wow, flat out wow. That's an amazing ship. Beautiful shape and great details. From the outside, I was beginning to wonder how patients could enter comfortably, and then a whole delivery system becomes clear. Neat. Kenn (19 years ago, 10-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Quick stats for NWBrickCon 2005 Moonbase

  ci maximum instructions

Hello peoples, In case anyone is interested, I finally got together some instructions for the ci maximum. Special thanks to Stefan for doing most of the work so I can take the credit. (URL) (19 years ago, 10-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: PCS Medical Ship LL-M1 "Doulos"

(...) I love...everything! There isn't a single part of that ship, inside or out, that's not perfectly done. As usual your original use of pieces is astounding. I particularly like the R2-D2 leg as a light over the desk (at least I think that's what (...) (19 years ago, 9-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: PCS Medical Ship LL-M1 "Doulos"

(...) I think they're from one of the snow boarding sets. I saw the same pieces being cleverly used in the Moonbase at BrickFest this year, too. Very smart! Chris is my hero! "LEGOS!" -Greg (19 years ago, 9-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: PCS Medical Ship LL-M1 "Doulos"

Simply Awsome! A wonderful MOC... and an incredible use of the hockey pieces(?)... This has a wonderful over all 'complete feel' to it which really makes the MOC. The colour scheme is also great. I particularly like the shape (though it is so (...) (19 years ago, 8-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Chris, Beautiful! I really don't quite know what I can say to do it justice except to drool. One question about your staff - wouldn't the ship also benefit from having a physician aboard? -Jeff (19 years ago, 8-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Improved Space Combat Fighter

Hello, all! Mostly a lurker, life's been busy -- a career position at a busy hospital in the Baltimore area? Maybe, if I'm lucky. Odd, then, that I'm building military MOCs. Well. Introducing the UIW's Improved Combat Superiority Fightercraft: (I (...) (19 years ago, 8-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)
