  Re: Post-classic space

snipped and quoting Paul Baulch here: (...) If memory serves me well CS was grey and blue with trans-yellow. Then it went to white with blue with trans-blue. This was the time my brother started collecting the space LEGO I now own and neither of us (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks Sylvi! I think that the fighters will get their own page, because I've actually made a few very different variations of that basic fighter design. Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks Richie, you're right about the pilots, I think I'll put something in the builder's notes. (...) Fair enough, but I prefer it to the old one, which I felt looked too fat and round. It was also a lot more boring-looking both inside and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) snipped (...) Hi Paul! It looks very nice. I had discovered the older model and think this is a nice improvement. Looking forward to pics of the fighters! Love, Sylvi (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks Trevor, actually I did consider having more than four bunks, but given that there's no easy way for the fighter pilots to transfer from their fighters to the main craft, I just figured that the ship wouldn't deploy for long enough for (...)   Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks, I was very happy to use the inverse dome like that for the nose. It went really well as the housing for the wormhole generator too. (...) I thought it was the submarine doors... but yeah, the grille tiles seemed to work too. Not to (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Well, a problem with the older version was that the antennae didn't furl all the way flush with the rest of the ship (they're farthest back in the pic), and this bugged me. That, and it just wasn't detailed enough inside or outside. And the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks, I was pretty happy with the submarine-y look the wheels gave to the doors. It'd be nice to do the same thing to the torpedo-tube doors, perhaps if the tubes were 4x4 this could be done well. (...) Yeah, I was sort of hazy on this. I (...)   Re: Light attack carrier

(...) It's a very impressive (and innovative) ship, carrying an entirely satisfactory number of fighters (though I can't imagine life would be much fun for the fighter pilots!). To my eye, the new design isn't as good as the old one. The new nose (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) mmm...ok...for what reason did you name her 'Hope' hee (if private, don't answer, i was just being VERY literal, not using 'why') (...) did she burst into tears when you said that? ;) i think it looks great just the way it is (really) (...)   Re: Light attack carrier

(...) At last!!! And even more incredible than before! The bow design, the torpedo tubes, the greeblies, the fighters, the engines, the gear...absolutely incredible. Just incredible. Absolutely, positively, incredible. Perfectly done. (22 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Jumpin' Gehosiphat! This rendition rocks! :D Love the missle tubes, think there should be more crew quarter space (Although there probably is and we just can't see it with the limited pics). The landing gear is very good...very clean lines (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Dragonstar - A few new interior pics

(...) <snipped> Hey Dan! It's getting better and better every time I see it. Love the little floating droids and especially the view of the crew quarters from this new perspective. Oh, and I checked out the a-wing carrier again, just a few more hits (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Dragonstar - A few new interior pics

(...) Cool stuff. I like the studless floors with stripes. I really like the floating droids too. They remind of Beholders. (URL) (22 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Dragonstar - A few new interior pics
