Re: What do you think would happen if........

(...) The most.. er.. believable (in my far-from-scientific mind anyway) rendition of this kind of 'what-if' scenario that I've come across so far was in the movie Event Horizon. A character gets himself stuck in an airlock on an unstoppable (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Nasty

(...) Heh, I've been guilty of coping other people's designs and crediting them to you. There are so many styles here on lugnet.space it has really pushed me into directions I had never realised. I just hope that some people see the tricks and (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: What do you think would happen if........

(...) Sorta... Contrary to popular belief (and that one Treehouse of Horror ep of The Simpsons), people do not explode in a vacuum (though their blood vessels certainly can. They'll die of asphyxiation while freezing. It is possible (though not at (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Blacktronicle

(...) Because it's equally as Bionicle-ish. There's not a lot of love here for that theme, though I aim to change that. How? By doing stuff like this. :) (...) Can't help you there, unless you send me a Space Police lock up. Anways, I've done a (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space is (barely) back

(...) I am also quite taken aghast. To me a Lego Ban on a minor Lego Enthusiast is like Child Abuse. IMO. There are those with collections of over half a million pieces, so there is no such thing as TOO MUCH. There are those who are in their 60's or (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro Bots

(...) Hey Wayne. Groovy Bots, keep up the good work. no problem, you can call me Dr. Terrible. I built acouple more bots awhile ago, too lazy to post the pic, so i'll post the pic in here >: D (URL) The hard part for me with bots would be the name (...)   Re: Blacktronicle

(...) Heh. I figured there'd be a few people who fell in this category. The truth is, I believe it's possible to do just about anything with Bionicle. I've made a 24" oriental dragon, a dragonfly with an 18" wingspan, a purple gorilla, an Alien (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Blacktronicle

(...) Um, firstly, all of the Bionicle characters are measured in "Bio", which looks to be a direct conversion to the metric system. If it is, the actual Toa should be about the same size as standard minifigs,. If it's not, then, well, the Toa have (...)   Re: Blacktronicle

(...) Yup. I only ever got the Invader, the Battrax, and whichever Space minifig set included a B1 minifig (fortunately for me, it included two black visors, since I'd crushed the one from my Invader by stepping on it *sniff*), so I was a bit peeved (...)   What do you think would happen if........

Hello all, Some weeks ago I watched a sci-fi Anime series. After watching one of the episodes I got thinking about this "method of escape". Here's the Scenario: Two guys are stuck in a very large, glass-roofed lounge with the ceiling pointing into (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro Bots

Thanks wubwub, I really dig retro-scifi; sometimes way retro - say Victorian Era. But I first feel in love with artwork from pulp scifi mags of the 30/40/50s. Spaceships with giant fins, bulky robots that are challenged by stairs, and thinly veiled (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Retro Bots

Thanks Mark, I've got some brains on order for more horrific pulp-bots. Umm.. that doesn't quite sound right. Hopefully, there will be more robots soon. (Although I spy Maddison's sweet little hardsuit screaming to be copied). Anyway, I've always (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: SPECIAL ANNOUCEMENT FOR THE LEGO SPACE FORCE!!!

(...) Maybe if you would have included F. Lee Bailey, who shares a first initial of one and a middle name of another... as well as a transposition of LFB for a monogram BTW. (I'm not lurking in .space I'm really not-- it's just that it was on the (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: .space needs a geek check

Re: Classic Space is (barely) back

(...) Yeah? And the yellow astronaut's spacesuit was the exact same color as his head. Certain parts of the logo tended to blend in on the white and red astronauts' spacesuits.   Re: SPECIAL ANNOUCEMENT FOR THE LEGO SPACE FORCE!!!

(...) Yeah, it was really a seconding, maybe with a bit more explication. (...) No hmmphing necessary. I'm afraid I cornered a little tight there when changing tracks. Bram got it in one; I was asking when you changed from "Matt" to "M. Aaron." (I (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)
