  Re: Hey Allister Mclaren...

(...) Funny thing. My Lugnet member's page shows the correct address. Is the bigpond one still appearing somewhere? Allister (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Hey Allister Mclaren...

(...) Yes he does: allistermclaren@optusnet.com.au He said he was going to change the one you have when he gave me that one and that was two months ago. ;-) -Andrew (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  RSC Rebirth: Rounded Slope Compendium

(2 URLs) When I started the RSC for the mech-heads back in early 2002, it was with the intent that we'd have a growing resource for all the beautiful slopes, wedges, and canopies that LEGO has released recently. It was a nice intent, but without (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Kemuel?

(...) Thanx Gil! I am glad you liked it. I noticed the Triumvirae before, in an old post and checked it out. Maybe it influenced me subconsciously, but the triangular symmetry of Paul's craft is something I can never reach. I hadn't seen the other (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE

CEO Aaron Sneary here. Secondary Systems reports that they will be presenting scale models of two Marsbase modules. These are fully compatible with moonbase modules, but are distinctly of the red planet: Marsbase One- the initial colony module built (...)   Hey Allister Mclaren...

I'm trying to email you, but my messages are getting returned as undeliverable. Do you have a more current email address besides ALLISTERMCLAREN@*nos...GPOND.COM? (URL) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Varian Class startship

First, I really appreciate all the positive comments. A Minifig scale version? Yes, I have thought about it, and I would like to do it. However, I have three other ships in the works now (same scale as this one). I think I will finish these first. ( (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) As I said above, the overall structure is under tension and wouldn't allow this to happen-- wait for Mark II! (...) phew! :^D Thanks for looking! stuart (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) no... sorry. But I'm working on it. Glad you approve-- I'd love to see how someone else might approach this model; it has so many interesting features, and has a smooth, complicated silhouette. Mine needs some improving yet... (...) Oooh! (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) I had the Space:1999 version. And it never worked properly! I wish I could have taken an eye out... j/k (...) Indeed. thanks! stuart (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) LOL! What is brain? stuart (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) Sadly, the Type-1 is a fixed part of the model as it stands. The structure through the back is under stress because the hinged walls do not precisely line up with the straight stud core, and it needs bracing through the centre. I'm working on (...)   Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) Cool, thanks! I tried... although I think I can improve upon the Type-1 black part. Stay tuned for updates! (...) Yes, in fact. I use Photoshop extensively, but try make the photograph as good as possible beforehand anyway. I usually shoot in (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE (follow-up count)

(...) My appologies for the unintended spoiler, Admiral Giddens. ;) As for a cooperative module, that would be cool! It would be nice to get some actual building in *during* the Fest. (Although I am uncertain if I will be bringing any spare ABS, (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) Yes but did you make a Type 1 that can be removed from the Type 2? (Showing my true Trek geekiness...) If you didn't, it's still a very wonderful creation! Nicely done! Dave K (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Set Phasers on... BUILD

(...) Gil, I remember those. Do you remember the candy called "Space Orbits"? They were very tiny jawbreakers that came in a box along with a straw so you can shoot them spit ball style. This was back in the late 70's. I wonder how many eyes they (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
