This is pretty cool. If you view it in IE, you can drag the spaceships around for comparison. (URL) Admiral (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

SPLANG's got back, like a dump, dump truck! Again, a sweet balance between utility and PCS gracefulness Chris. So, this would be your $12.99 price point entry? I am keeping track...;) Cheers, -G (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Followup to Proposal of building theme "sequels"

This is fun idea. I've wondered what lies beyond the SW contract for Lego Space. The LoM stuff has sorta grown on me over the last couple years and I've come to miss some the original themes. With the evolution that has come from SW parts, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Request for Ideas/Suggestions

Glad you reposted this Matt...missed it first time around. The ship you are basing it on looks wild...an unorthadox look that should be a real challenge to build, although your first step are well on the way. As far as I can see, you can't get any (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Thanks! I render it in Ldite (have no Idea how to use PovRay) then Print Screened each of the 36 frames (10 dregrees rotate on the Y axis each time), pasted in Paint, saved as .gif then created one animated gif using Ulead Gif Animatior 2.0 (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Followup to Proposal of building theme "sequels"

Hey all, Just wanted to say that I wasn't suggesting this idea as a contest. I envisioned it as more of a Moonbase Module kind of thing. We set a few guidelines and let the builder's imagination do the rest. I cetainly wouldn't want to place a time (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

My take on some .space fads

Hi all, Here are some old models I made when various fads swept the .space newsgroup. Uberbike (URL) Uberbike was constructed and piloted by Arnold P.   Re: Can you dig it?

(...) Yeah, what he said. I use Photoshop. However, there should be some shareware or freeware apps out there that allow you to resize pics. ~Grand Admiral (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Request for Ideas/Suggestions

Hi everyone.   Re: USS Okazaki NCC-1960 WIP

  Re: USS Okazaki NCC-1960 WIP

There might be something intersting for you here: (URL) have never undertook a Really Large Ship, but I can give basic design principles: 1. Don't get boxy. Boxiness can really kill a huge ship. 2. Make an internal support structure. Use technic (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
