I could tell right away it was slag. By the melted looking portion on the top and the overall angular look to it. Too bad. Yeah they are very cool. (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Two Robots Enter - One Robot Leaves!

Created for the space-themed spring 2003 TEXLUG meeting, this is my first and probably only moonbase module I will ever attempt to create. My fiancee Christina and I built this together, actually. She wanted to help contribute to the meeting, and I (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

A piece of SPACE... no more.... darn it.

Hi all, Haven't been building lately (much) due to planning and leading a mission trip. Well on that trip one of my college students dug up this 17 pound chunk of something: (URL) can look through pics 00075 - 00084 Check out the cool crystal like (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Major Debut: Part I

(...) Thanks! I enjoy making things seem very organic, because I hope things in the future will both look cool and be kind to the enviroment. Most of my other greeblies were used up in half-a-dozen other MOCs, and I felt to get that 'wavy' look I (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks! I really like making things very curvy, the new slopes and click-hinges were a godsend for me! Thanks for the compliments, Nathan Lord of the LEGO (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

Thanks for the nice comments guys, I appreciate them. Yeah, it's ironic - now that I finally have a good selection of parts, and virtually anything available through BrickBay - I still prefer to make things as small as possible. I guess it was those (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) ...darnit, me and my liking the official models when I was little... (I made plenty of Town MOCs, but not Space.) Oh, well. I did make a few nice MOCs in middle school, I guess that counts. Time to make the Destination Mark II, then. -Andrusi (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) Uh oh. I sense a long babbling Hendo-Post coming on... ;o Yeah, the story of Valyance has been developing in my head since I was about 12, when I finally had Lego models of three different themes. The setting grew out of my childhood need to (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Crimey sir...if those backstories were your childhood ones, my hat off to your inventivenss at such a tender age! My most complex scenario was 'Johnny Rocket rescues Space Crystal'! Good stuff! If you get a chance, indeed cobble something together (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) you chose for the website though. It seems very Paradisa... ;) I certainly never took photos of my models in my youth. I think I didn't take photos of MOCs until about 1990, so there's 12 years of building before that was not documented. For (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) Heh, interesting concept. I actually did that for the Classic space Blacktron contest. I rebuilt, with a very similar design, though much much longer, a Blacktron Dragster that I'd made when I was a younger me. old: (2 URLs) dates back to (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
