  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) ...darnit, me and my liking the official models when I was little... (I made plenty of Town MOCs, but not Space.) Oh, well. I did make a few nice MOCs in middle school, I guess that counts. Time to make the Destination Mark II, then. -Andrusi (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) Uh oh. I sense a long babbling Hendo-Post coming on... ;o Yeah, the story of Valyance has been developing in my head since I was about 12, when I finally had Lego models of three different themes. The setting grew out of my childhood need to (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

Crimey sir...if those backstories were your childhood ones, my hat off to your inventivenss at such a tender age! My most complex scenario was 'Johnny Rocket rescues Space Crystal'! Good stuff! If you get a chance, indeed cobble something together (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) Now I have to find the pictures of my first capital-sized ship. :) It had lots of pretty colors on it, and had a magentic core. I ha 6 magnets, one for each direction as the core. It had removable panels and roof and stuff. It then was (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

Very cool. They remind me of dragonflies--very delicate yet sleek. I especially like the use of the flags. Bruce (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) you chose for the website though. It seems very Paradisa... ;) I certainly never took photos of my models in my youth. I think I didn't take photos of MOCs until about 1990, so there's 12 years of building before that was not documented. For (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

(...) Heh, interesting concept. I actually did that for the Classic space Blacktron contest. I rebuilt, with a very similar design, though much much longer, a Blacktron Dragster that I'd made when I was a younger me. old: (2 URLs) dates back to (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  .Spacers...to the Time Warp!!

Greetings! With the news of the day seemingly surrounding us at every turn these days, I can't help but look back to what seemed a simpler time. A time of ice cream trucks, waterparks, summer camp and yes...Lego. Chatting with a friend about the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

These are awesome! I love them! (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  But they're very cool!

Hey Gary, Very snazzy models at such a small scale. As others have already said, excellent and clever use of the long rod w/flag piece and a great overall shape for so few parts! Perchance are you a fan of prop and jet fighters? These models have a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

(...) I love the renders and the real shots being virtually identical! Nicely done on the ships as well! It still amazes me how folks like you can do so much with so few pieces! These new renderings that everyone's posting are absolutely phenominal (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

(...) Cool shapes and variations, I just wish that the minifig still had his arms. Oi, to have to use a bite-stick to pilot. I just hope the guy doesn't sneeze. -Duane (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: They're not pods.

Hey! Those are seriously fun....I really like the compact design of them. They almost remind me of a futuristic Ultra-lite. Using the flags as struts/ailerons - clever! The renders are beautiful...hard to tell from the real thing. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
