  Re: Cambridge MOC

thanks, that sketch was done a week before i ever put to bricks together. i think its remarkable how true to form it ended up. the rear turned out for different. bu the angles of the snot and the curved 3 stud brick really came together better than (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cambridge MOC

at my recent LUG meeting, everyone asked about that hood scoop. I felt like i must have been the only person to actually own the extreme offroader that it came with. too bad that it doesn't have much use other than basket or scoop. maybe it could be (...)   Re: Cambridge MOC

thanks. That was a nice little cherry on top. It kinda seemed to compliment the form even.. I tore through my collection for more chrome to use. and all i could come up with was a handful of light sabers that i couldn't find any use for... if only i (...)   Re: Dilema

(...) It's a bit of a gamble there. It might go lower, but then again there aren't very many left on the shelf. This price is fairly heavily discounted from the $70 or $80 it was a few months ago. If only I didn't have this weakness for the Alpha (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Limited Build: Micro Lady Luck and Shield Ship

Hi everyone! While chatting with Ashley Glennon at BricksWest 2003, I found myself inspired to build in microscale and with a limited selection of parts. After acquiring all four Star Wars minis, I found myself playing mix and match with these cool (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  First post, new site

Web Editors (was 3 new MOC's)

(...) preaching to the converted here. I used to do all my HTML work in UltraEdit. text editor but you could set it to different "modes" one of them was HTML. basically it colour coded your tags, it was useful. Then I discovered Dreamweaver. It was (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new MOC's

(...) If you can find it, Frontpage Express is a nice What You See editor that lets you directly edit the HTML for adding Javascript and such. Although, the full version is possibly the best out there (I have it on my laptop for long car trips) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Glencaer's LEGO Blocks

(...) I haven't had much time to look at the stuff yet, so right now, my comments are only at the layout (my own web pages are either very simple hand- generated stuff, or are mainly tables generated by a pair of small C programs I wrote). 1) I (...)   Re: 3 new MOC's

Thanks John, I have tried many editors in my life, and I'm going to try to learn HTML and use the same editor. Actually, next year I'm taking web page programming using HTML as a class. So, that should help, and I'm gonna look for some tutorials now (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new MOC's

(...) I use 1stpage. (URL) finally got off my butt and learned HTML along with a good helping of CSS. I've found the 1spage is very helpful in building a webpage. The thing I like it's preview function- it automatically generates a temporary file so (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: My UCS Super Star Destroyer MOC

(...) Ok, if the death star had that much gravitational pull it would have totally screwed up Endor by causing quakes and tides and such. Nevermind that the "heavier" back end would have hit first. The much more plausable explanation is that after (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Tera Class 'Desert Stormer'

<drivvily backstory> the tera class is a well-rounded intercepter that does well in low and high altitude dogfights. thought it can go into zero gravity, it is sluggish and pilots often say it 'looks like a drunk duck' that is why they call the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: My UCS Super Star Destroyer MOC

(...) Not true, if the death star were large enough it would have a gravitational field of it's own to draw the executioner in. Check your physics! (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
