Ok, if the death star had that much gravitational pull it would have totally
screwed up Endor by causing quakes and tides and such. Nevermind that the
"heavier" back end would have hit first. The much more plausable explanation is
that after the A-Wing flew into the bridge the helm controls (for whatever
reason) threw the ship into a hard turn.
