  Re: Cathedral of the Gears

(...) Keith, that's magnificent, just magnificent. I love the style that it's done in--both the cog theme and the four flatiron spires above. Those arches are also excellent! Was any particular cathedral your inspiration, viz. the floorplan? best (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cathedral of the Gears

(...) new use for the spiral-staircase pieces, and I like it! The meeting of all those soldiers is great, and I really like the tombs. Is the interior detailed? I would enjoy some shots of it. Your photography skills have greatly improved from your (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: K-wing construction pics

My mocs have been subject to torment from my nephews. I have a moonbase and monorail setup and the big excitement is to have two monorails running at the same time with crashes and derailments. This induces screams of excitement. And of course the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.space)

  Re: Portable Bot Factories

(...) Markham, I've built two, one for me, and one to give away. Let's see...rules? * Use the teeny-tiny Plano box - it makes you think creatively. * Cram it full of lots of teeny-tiny pieces that would make cool 'bots. * Build, build, build. * Have (...)   My MOC: Smiles's Walker

Here's my first space submission for critisism. Shadow Recon VII, Block Sys. AT-Assault Walker x-b. Constructions-wise, it's rather simple but i think it looks neat. Being rather inexperienced with Space i think it turned out nice, but thats my (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cathedral of the Gears

(...) having build myself a hige cathedral I like what you've done! Nice way of using the technic elements to make the illusion of round windows. I like the use of the stairs in yoru windows. I'm still going through your pictures, maybe other (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: some teasers

(...) I'm glad you like the ship. I want to show you the finished work as soon as possible - but job and school are calling for some of my time... Thanks for your comments. (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: some teasers

Hi Jon, ah, I'm glad you like the cryo-chamber. I always liked that cryo-travelling idea so much that I simply had to do such thing in my ship... Er, this might be a silly question, but: what are those follow-ups for? I'm very pleased to join .space (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: some teasers

(...) thanks for your kind words, Paul. The reception here is very encouraging. I'm glad to be here at least! Actually the engine was the part that came to my mind first when I started this project. The thing was that I had lots of those round white (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cathedral of the Gears

Hi Keith, I have only one word to say: M-a-g-n-i-f-i-c-e-n-t. You used there a lot of unique ideas that I might "steal" from you. One thing however, I saw there a lot of fighters and not a single priest (or I just missed him?). I think you should (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Brickshelf Gallery up and running

(...) Hi Pete, Your colonial military is really cool! The colour scheme works really well, your robot designs have a great futuristic-yet-slightly-retro feel to them, your assortment of troop styles is good and your background wall designs show a (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Portable Bot Factories

Yes! I have. (URL) only rule that I can think of is that some sort of small, portable storage box is filled with cool pieces to build with. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Portable Bot Factories

Has any body but Jon and Xenos built these? Are there any basic rules to the creation of these? Also, the potential for games with these are really great! I've been thinking of one that seems pretty cool so far, so maybe I'll post it later... :) -- (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Chef Averts Interstallar War

In a bizarre turn of events, the chef of a hole-in-the-wall moonbase diner ended an interstellar war just moments after it had been declared. Chef Greez E. Zpoon was suprised to find Sea Monkeys sitting at his diner, getting quick bite to eat before (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Sea Monkeys declare war on lugnet.space

(...) Neat little walkers and suits! The walker is one of the relatively rare items that uses both tail parts and Galidor parts in a cool design! Joe Meno PS. Am building something for the Sea Monkeys...glad to see you're building for them too! (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Brickshelf Gallery up and running

Greetings, I'm de-lurking in this newsgroup, as I finally have something to show. Here's my gallery: (URL) full of spacey goodness and those who like minifig scale robots would do well to check it out. The modified alien heads are possibly rather (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New species of Fleebnork discovered; efficient fuel source

(...) I agree; from the proccessing pics, it appears that the Fleebnork is condensed down to the cemichal in some sort of crystaline lattice (block) form. This form could either be the power source, or could be used to direct fusion or (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Sea Monkeys declare war on lugnet.space

  Re: Hypothetical Space Warfare

(...) DING! DING! DING! This is what I was trying to say... Thanx, Lenny, for being so succinct. I have this problem with knowing what I want to say, but having it come out incompletely and sometimes incorrectly. Thanx for summing it up. "I don't (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et In Arcadia Lego: DiAxis

(...) Paul, Wow, I'm speechless... this one's gonna be one of those that I'm going to need to study. Incredible SNOT-tiness, and I love that it has a feel for true 3-d space in it's different configs. Your detailing is great, and inspiring. I hope (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
