Very Nice! The greeblies are nice, and the dark gray color scheme is awesome. The cockpit is great, and the silver cilynder is cool, too. Arr, no we got some competitors! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Good work on using the seed part of the month. It blends in quite well. As always you've developed a unique design. Where do you get your inspiration from? Your turning out some good MOC's lately. Keep up the good work. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: NCF-Starphyther

Hey that looks not too bad. I was always a sucker for those little single pilot fighter type ships. Nice work with the railings on the tail. It would be interesting to see the actual model, but CAD will do. Keep up the good work. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Now that is an O-riginal ship. I love it. Refreshing to see some asymetrical ships. (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: NCF-Starphyther

Hey there, JHK! Thanks for the compliments! I tried to design this ship to be rather "thrown-together" looking, as the Carona is, after all, scrambling to rearm itself before the next Vortexian attack! I hope I succeeded. It's supposedly the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: NCF-Starphyther

That's cool! The shape of the craft is very nice. The rising tail coupled with the two 'wing' pieces is very nice. And the placement of the engines is great too. Looks like a no-nonsense Starfighter, err, Starphyther. Too bad about the unavailabe (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  New MOC: NCF-Starphyther

Greetings to one and all. Inspired by the current "Feedback" discussion, I bring to you one of my latest models -- sadly, due to my inability to model hoses and my inability to find the wheel rims, those parts of the model are removed. The hose (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Yep, here's my thoughts: I wouldn't get any of those space sets. Guess I'm just too old. I was lucky enough to be around 10 years old when the first space stuff was introduced. The only space classic I'd buy would be 928. I'd also buy it if they (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Hmm....I would much prefer Set 6970 as a "Legends". But, the question does beg to be asked: Did Lego sign away their space ships in place of the Star Wars licensing? And if so, why?
