Many of you have probably seen this in the pictures from the NWBrickCon layout. Here's you chance to check it out in lots of detail! (URL) interior is rather empty except for sliding elevator doors.   Re: Entry to lame parts contest

(...) I agree, and to add to the nit, when posting links, please put a (URL) front of the URL. It makes the URL clickable in Netscape (and Outlook and probably other news readers). I often skip URLs without because I'm too lazy to cut and paste, not (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: The pod moves to Japan

(...) Oh, good grief. How cool is that? I mean, the fact that it looks great when you first see it, and then it looks better when you see it transformed into the pod, and then when you look back you decide it looks even better the first way, and (...)   Re: Entry to lame parts contest

Thanks. My wife was particularly surprised with how well the rowboats integrated into the general shape of the ship. I myself was happiest with the way the rope bridges integrated. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do anything with them that wouldn't (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

That turned out pretty cool. The lame parts don't really jump out at you. They contribute to the color scheme pretty well. Nicely done. Good name, too. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space MOC

G- Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, Star Wars has been the major influence in my return to space creations. At one point in time I seriously thought about selling all my space related items because I thought "I'm a castler, I'll never build anything (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space MOC

(...) Wow that does look similiar. My actual inspiration for that fighter was the speederbike in Anakin and the Tuskens. I wanted it to look like a fighter the size of a motorbike. thanks for the feedback. -lenny (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New website and new MOCs

Hey, thanks Andrew! Yeh, asymmetrical designs are always fun. I really love just ignoring the 'ugg, I have to find another one of this part' principle used when making symmetrical designs. Thanks for the compliments on the website, too. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New website and new MOCs

I like the site. The descriptions are nice, and the MOCs don't hurt either. I like your asymmetric designs. The racer is one of my favorites. The hover car is cool, and the Fat Duck just rocks. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little speeder

(...) Ain't that a little cutie. It's sort of the Honda CRX of the pod world. It's small and compact, but can go like a bat out of heck. Groovy Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

Thanks. Don't cross your eyes, just look at the amorphous blob that is the thumbnail :) I tried very hard to obscure the lameness of the lame parts as much as possible, which is why it ended up being my third MOC with the brown/grey/tan color (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

(...) Heh, yeah it is. I'm particularly pleased with the way the soccer ball turned out. It's like it was made to fit in those 1x4 arches. (...) I do it that way because I'm lazy and I like consistency. I really don't care that much many hits I get. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Moc: Dragon Gunship

Those canopies look really good. Inside the cockpit looks nice, too. I like the guns and landing gear. You can't go wrong with the Aliens Dropship. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Little speeder

Hey, thats nice. I like how you used the 'useless' sand green color and how the slopes add up to the cockpit. Nice little speeder! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
