G-
Thanks for the feedback.  Yeah, Star Wars has been the major influence in my
return to space creations.  At one point in time I seriously thought about
selling all my space related items because I thought "I'm a castler, I'll never
build anything space."  And then one day all I could think about was Jon
Palmer's I-wing, and I built one of my own, and it was downhill ever since.  A
few weeks ago I finished an actual spaceship (64 pegs long, 30 pegs wide)-which
I have yet to photograph and post.
Funny how things work out.

Play more in .space....it's out of this world!

Cheers,

Four fightercraft.

The K-0 "Dog", Karalehn Industries.  A "Zero" fighter, small (roughly the
size of a motorcycle), it is insanely fast but difficult to maneuver.  The
K-0 is small enough to evade almost all defensive mechanisms and still
powerful enough to deliver a devastating blow.

The K-14 "Kol", Karalehn Industries. Light Carrier based fighter.  Like the
K-0, the K-14 is designed for speed with complete disregard for shielding.
The result is an excellent fighter for small missions, but poor in large
scale combat.

The K-300 "Nonna", Karalehn Industries. Medium Carrier based fighter.  The
most popular carrier based fighter, complete with folding wings for storage.
The Nonna is well balanced between speed, fire power, shielding, and
manuverability.

The T-0 "Suicide", Tudodune Fleet Systems.  The first of the "Zero"
fighters, so named because it was originally believed the pilots were
suicidal.  The fighter is designed to evade large ship's defence systems and
deliver two fully powered torpedos (at such a distance that they wouldn't
miss).  Despite the craze it takes to pilot this thing (face-first, no
less), the Suicide is amazingly effective.

Nice, compact designs Lenny....both the K-0 and K-14 have a little bit of a Star Wars feel - small fighters, overpowered and heavily armed. Play more in .space....it's out of this world! Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
