The byte codes are listed here: (URL) plan to add more documentation and examples in the near future. I'll have an example of downloading there too. I'm looking forward to becoming a scout owner this Xmas :-) In the meantime, does anyone know if there exists any software for a Psion 3 to download software into a scout via Psion serial<->IR tower or ideally, Psion IR<->Scout IR port?! Did you notice the mentioning of three types of touch sensors? This refers to the color coded switches from the Cybermaster set. Appearantly they will show up in Mindstroms sets sooner or later. I took a look at the Scout SDK License Agreement and I didn't see restrictions on other platforms but it says that you may not "create derivative works based upon the software". I was thinking of the same sort of thing for NQC too. However that means I would have to implement NQC on the Palm as well. For the Scout I would have add the Scout tool translator to the Palm. Mike, It looks like you are well on your way to figuring out those byte codes. I thought of a handy app for the Palm; a Scout LASM program downloader. Using the new Lego SDK for the Scout I've built and programmed a self learning Scout robot. The artificial intelligence of the Scout is based on a roulette wheel brain.
