I would have no objections to taking over some the responsibilities, especially those related to releasing versions. It's what I do best, anyway. Luis, I can do a quick HOWTO (though it'll only cover Linux) & post this patch. I think it'd be useful, anyway. It applies cleanly to 0.2.5 as well. Thank you Jochen for your answer. If I well understand the ds_rotation_handler code, the timeout is set to 1 second. So the velocity may drop to zero 1 second after wheels really stop.
