Something slightly offtopic:
For some time I was searching for a usable IDE edit / compile system I
wanted to use for the writing legOS programs. What I found is an editor
called cooledit (can be found at cooledit.sourceforge.net). Cooledit has all
the syntax highlighting features you could wish and is programmable in
python and for easy tasks can be expanded with bash-scripts.

So I built a script that saves my program, compiles it and, if there where
no errors, downloads it to the rcx. The script is envoked by pressing the
unused "windows" key on my keyboard.

Mike
