Hi. I have been playing with legOS (the current version in CVS at
sourceforge), and have found a few bugs in it. Several of these are
filed at the sourceforge site, so I'm wondering what the protocol is for
getting these fixed. I can submit patches if you like. Here are the
bugs:
* util/dll-src/Makefile: need to compile lnp.c
* demo/c++/Makefile: don't compile lineTrack.lx, since there is no
source for it.
* util/Makefile: don't use the '-u' flag to 'cp', since not all
platforms support it (Solaris, for one)
* util/Makefile.common: use gcc instead of cc, since we really need to
compile with gcc - a generic cc (eg. Sun's Workshop) won't do.
* util/Makefile.common: there is no newline at the end of the file
* util/dll-src/convert.c: line 199 increments optind, causing segfault
if there is an error writing the .lx. Fix is to not increment.
I have also added a few features to legOS. Let me know if you would be
interested in adding them to the distribution:
* Computing a running average of the velocity for rotation sensors.
* A function to compute the amount of free memory.
* An addition to the program manager to show how much memory each
program takes up, and the amount of free memory.
* in util/dll-src/rcxtty.h, a default communication port for Sun machines.
I also have a few other ideas for "improvements". It would be nice to have
CVS checkin access, if that is an easily-obtained priviledge.
