  Re: loading s/w

(...) I skipped something here. The assumption I made is that you want to load new custom firmware. If you want to load the Lego firmware, find the Firm0309.lgo file in your Mindstorms directory, and load that into the RCX exactly as you would (...)   It's time to release some patches for LegOS 0.2.4

I've just released on legos.sourceforge.net my patches for LegOS. I was waiting for some life signal from Marcus. In absence of those signals, I assume that all is right... ;-) Forgive me if I broke down something for Linux people, but if I didn't (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

I have also invisioned something like a "shell" running on the legOS that you could either "telnet" in to or (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  TinyVM coding question

Folks, I have a question about TinyVM 0.1.3. I am working with the included code (TestReceiver1.java) but have come across some interesting behavior which I hope someone can explain (and offer a solution for). I am tryying to write a simple program (...) (24 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  dll 0.2.3 fails on SGI

Hello all, My first time on this list... I've been trying to get LegOS running in my recently aquired RCX 1.0. I created an egcs cross-compiler for Solaris. I used this to compile the kernel. The IR tower is connected to an SGI (an O^2 running IRIX (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: using lego network protocol + collobartion on project??

(...) I am still really battling with this. I have tried to hack the "program.c" which from what I understand is the code that the RCX uses to download legOS onto itself. I have gotten a very small subset of that program to compile but it seems to (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Problems with datalog

(...) It is possible. If the datalog is created from outside the program (i.e. RCXcc) then my program correctly logs the IR messages. The problem I'm having is that I cannot get the RCX to create the datalog from within the program. From Dave's (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  LEGO remote controller problem

Hi, I have problems getting the LEGO IR remote controller to work (using brickOS 0.2.6.10). I wrote a small test program that installs a lr handler function which simply displays the received key value on the LCD. But when running this and pressing (...)   Re: Curious problem with download

(...) Offhand, I'd suspect that the problem is either interference from lighting in the room, or perhaps your IR tower is 'marginal'. From your tests so far it doesn't sound like the problem follows either a specific computer or an RCX. Minimize the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  RE: Turning power off?

(...) It's probably bad luck. Two weeks running is about normal if you're doing lots of IR downloads. The IRED takes quite a bit of current when transmitting. The POWER_OFF does shut things down....I really do forget if RCX_SHUTDOWN is necessary. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

Normally this happens on a quiet track where all you have powered is the decoder being programmed at the time. However, if you have a bunch or (...)   RCX3 - Can extra hardware functionality be added?
