| Hello! There is a part in my RIS set which i have never used. Nor can I think of what it could be used for, or describe it without using words like "weird" and "what the". | I received my free (+$3.95 P&H) upgrade kit today and was pleasantly surprised ( or should that be AMAZED, Y-A-H-O-O-O-O!!!! and THANK YOU LEGO) to see that was NOT just a software upgrade, as I had thought, but the full #3803 "RIS 1.5 UPGRADE KIT" (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Unfortunately, it seems that TLC doesn't have a clear idea of what to do with Mindstorms in general. Their support for the whole line has been less than full - note the failure to update software for their cameras beyond Win98. I've been using the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| (...) Check out page 7 of the LASM Byte Codes doc. They've added a lot more data "sources" including one for the battery level. Specifically, the command is direct only (after all, there's no equivalent within a program for the response data from a command). However, data sources (...) | I was wondering if there is command-line way of downloading a MindScript program. In other words, is there some way to download the program without launching the ATLClient? Or maybe a command-line switch on the ATLClient which downloads the program (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics)

| If you use Quickview to open ATLClient.exe, you will find the file is a "Runs in the Windows GUI subsystem.", if you open nqc.exe, the message will be "Runs in the Windows characters subsystem", this is your needs, so the answer maybe will be no! | I had *no* trouble installing RIS 1.5 on my Win2K system, and it runs pretty well, most of the time. | Take a look at (URL). See the dog? Is it MIBO? If we can really build that dog out of the box, then RIS 2.0 might as well be the best Technic Universal set Lego has ever released. Look at the rotation sensor, the shock absorbers, and all those turn (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.technic)
