Noone has it listed on Bricklink right now, but there was a recent Mindstorms
survey held on LEGO.com that hints at the possibility that they might be coming
out with an RIS 3.0 sometime in the near future. The other alternative is to
see if you can score an RIS 2.0 kit for cheap (I've heard of them listing for
$100ish recently).

| The Mindstorms SDK 2.5 is still available, which includes the 2.0 firmware. If you don't want the actual 2.0 version of the graphical programming software then this should be all you need. (URL) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

| I'd like to upgrade my RIS software to 2.0, but it would appear that Lego no longer sells it. (URL) says "Sorry this item is not available in this country." I called Lego shop today, and they confirmed that it is discontinued. Perhaps someone knows (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
