  New Robolab user saying hello!

Hello, I have recently purchased Robolab to use with my Mindstorms set. I am an electronics test development engineer for satellite payloads and write programs in Labview for the test systems. So I was interested in Robolab as soon as I found out (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Running legOS under DJGPP Status

With increase discussion about running legOS under DJGPP I started investigating this process. The following is a status report of where I am and the steps I took to get there. Beware that I have jumped around some, left some tasks unfinished, and (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jul-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Is there a NQC HowTo out there someplace?

Hello, I have reached the limits of what Mindstorm 2.0 software can do a long time ago and now want to go further. I think I would try the NQC. My problem is that I do not know anything about C or NQC. I have learned Pascal and Basic language (and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

We need a FULL install of everything!

In response to your e-mail message: I realize it's *technically* better from a logistics standpoint to require people to download everything seperately, so they'll get the "absolute" latest version.   H8300 Cross Compiler for Mac OS X (a start ...)

With access to a Mac OS X 10.2 this week I have made an attempt to build the cross compiler set under Mac OS X. Currently I have an issue with sysinfo.c with the binutils build. But for those interested here are my steps so far. I will post more as (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Getting the Windows LegOS 0.2.3 compiler package to compile 0.2.4

I have been using Rossz Vámos-Wentworth's LegOS 0.2.3 distribution for Windows and it works beautifully. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting the new 0.2.4 release to work under this Windows distribution of LegOS? I copied the entire (...) Hi We are a couple of 4th year Computer Science students who have been given the enviable task of programming a set of 6 RCX's to do something "impressive" (please forward any cool ideas for a project to michael.yates@studen...le.edu.au) anyhow in (...)   BrickOS issues

First off, I'd like to say that I had ZERO problems installing, building, and testing BrickOS on my PC. That's even with the BrickOS name change release and the pre-built Hitachi tools. I had approached pbForth two or three times in the past, always failing to manage what I thought was a steep learning curve.   Re: GUI for legOS

Is DJGPP easier to use from DOS (Windows)? Can CygWin be executed from a command line? When I set up my PC with LegOS (about a year ago) I installed DJGPP (with the help of a Unix friend), and I've been very happy with it. Recently, I just set-up a (...)
