Re: Multiplexing 4 touch sensors on an RCX input port

(...) While in theory, this sounds very cool, in pratice, I doubt it will work quite that well. The biggest problem will be that the standard touch sensors may not be 100% on when you press it. This means the sensor itself can provide some (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Alternatives for NQC Event Support

RCX 2.0 adds firmware support for events and resource acquisitiion. The primitives are rather straight-forward. For events, one command beings event monitoring on a set of events, another stops monitoring. If a monitored event occurs, control is (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Anyone know what I can use instead of batteries for my RCX? Some sort of AC Adapter? I saw mention of something like this here, but, couldn't figure out how it could be set up. Thanks! .josh .jburley@kuci.org (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

By "fastest", I assume you mean the smallest worst case latency between a condition happening and the RCX responding to it.
