  green light to win

(...) ... (...) Is exhausting the 9V of the IR tower transceiver a Windows only problem? When my `uname -a` reports: Linux Knoppix 2.4.19-xfs ... then the green LED light stays off til some software speaks IR. But in Win XP, the green LED light (...) (...) I tried adding -v & > output.txt but it didn't work. All it did was light up the towers LED for a bit then quit back to the command line. It did work when I used -v, showing all the sent bytes, but the download still failed. I also managed to (...) (19 years ago, 24-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  LNP questions

Can anyone tell me if this function is blocking: lnp_integrity_write or, how can I find out when it is complete? I'm trying to do proximity stuff with BrickOS and I want to know when IR is being transmitted. Thanks Steve (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  advice for game of tag?

Hi, I've got 2 bots that I want to play tag with each other. The challenge is that I want them to see each other at a distance. I'm working on some code to combine the IR ports with the light sensors (which can detect IR) as follows: 1) each sends (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

From what I've been able to figure, you need to bypass the irDA queue on the Palm to send straight bits over the IR port. This is possible by going to the hardware itself. OmniRemote can do it, and so can we (if we figure out how!). It's been in my (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)
