Hello,

I wrote up a little article about the demonstration I put together for
JavaOne. The article includes links to the source code and talks a
little bit about how the pieces fit together. In a nutshell, a
Java-enabled mobile phone talks via the Internet to a servlet, which
forwards commands to the robot via the IR tower. Communication is
strictly one-way, and when you get right down to it it's a surprisingly
low-tech system. Nevertheless, the end result is pretty cool and I
thought some of you crazy Java people might be interested in how I did
it.

Enjoy!

I am standing on the shoulders of those who came before: Scott Lewis,
Kekoa Proudfoot, Jose Solorzano. This is truly an amazing community.
Thanks to everyone.

Jonathan
