| *Embarrased look* sorry I shouldn't of missed that.. Sorry to hassle you but I am stuck yet again. The lnptest program just records collision after collision. I have no other IR devices in the area (as far as I know anyway) It doesn't display any of (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | WiiMote controlled shipyard crane

| Recently, I've bought WiiMote (Nintendo Wii Controller), which can be tethered to a regular PC via Bluetooth. You can then use for example this library - (URL) - to read WiiMote buttons, IR and accelerometer data. I've combined this with a simple (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jan-08, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| I've got it making the first-c++.o file now, but it chokes because it can't find the first-c++.coff file. Probably because it's not being made for some reason. Here is the current make message: snip-- C:\legOS.0.1.7>make h8300-hms-ld -T h8300.rcx (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| I've just got V0.2.2 working, after at least a year of not having had time to play with it! I just wanted to say WOW :) It's come a long way, and I can't wait to start tinkering with it again! Fantastic work Markus! The small request? I use com2 for (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | RE: New TLC Mindstorms survey
| I'm thinking something like a hybrid between the GameboyRCX and what we have now.... What if you could use an IR equipped palmPilot (or Clie), or even a PocketPC to talk to a simple micro. Wait, you'd need an IRDA protocol stack on the micro, unless (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| | Re: legOS Network Protocol
| (...) Assuming packets without large internal gaps, we could employ a timeout to wait for a packet transmission of unknown protocol type to end. At 2400 bps with 8E1 (LEGO, isn't it?), one data byte has 11 bits, so a space of 1.5*11/2400 s should be (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
