| (...) Daniel, Much more than the 600 byte class gets downloaded. If you do lejos myclass -o myclass.bin, and look at the size of myclass.bin, you will see the true size of the download. | Nowhere ! The Spirit.ocx is included in the CD content from RIS 1.0 and 1.5. It was available at the lego homepage, but it's not included in the LEGO SDK anymore. (Or am i missing something ?) Since the RIS 2.0 has an USB Tower you can't use it with (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Besides a linkable API dll ("Ghost") it also contains a COM server with functionality similar to (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| On a slightly related note, I've been trying to get all this to work via Linux on a PowerBook FireWire. I have a keyspan USB PDA adapter (USA-19), I seem to be able to at a minimum send characters to the tower (the green light of justice lights up) (...) | (...) I had the opposite problem. It worked fine, but whenever I powered off my system the green light came on and stayed on. (2 URLs) I never did figure out the problem. | (...) Kaspar, There is a bug with serial towers with RCXPort in lejos 2.0. This causes the problem you are seeing. There is a fixed version in (URL) fixes RCXPort, but I haven't put the fix in the LNP versions yet. I only have a USB Tower, and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)
