| Thank you, David. Your gode is great! I learned a lot from your quick example, though I prefer Java more. | The standard RCX firmware with its serial protocol could not talk to a GPS, but LegOS could. With LegOS and a GPS we could make robots that could tell where they were. This would be way cool. On an old project I used to work on, I actually used an SREC dump routine, but here the tower would cause problems because the PC would keep having to poll for addresses. | Pinnacle Systems has a USB video capture device which allows one to capture the analog video signal. | There seems to be a common misconception that all cameras are equal! They are not. The kind of interface commonly found in webcams and the Lego cam are USB based digital ones which are supported by the O/S and deliver digitised images as bits maps (...) | I think I didn't mention that there is an addition for XCam2 called XRay which makes XCam2 a usb webcam. My question was if it could be used.
