  Re: Problem

(...) You'd be up and running already without a hitch if you used my pre-built installers for cygwin & brickOS. Downloading the firmware using BricxCC is very simple as well. (URL) Hansen (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Add motor driver to RCX

Have anyone tried to add an external motordriver to the RCX ports, so you can use the powerful 3Amp motors from the 8366 RC car on the RCX? (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Problem

(...) Are you sure you typed "ln"? That should be "LN" but lowercase. It can be easy to confuse "l" with "i". ROSCO (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Beginners questions

I coached a FIRST LEGO Robotics team last year and the team members used RIS. Before the season gets underway I would like them to learn Robolab. I've been working with it for a few days now and have a few questions. I searched the news groups and (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, FTX)

  Re: brickOS v1?

(...) doesn't it do that already with kernel 2.6? I have a serial tower, so I wouldn't know, but it sems logical (as nqc requires that driver and it's just there for me : fc2) Thomas (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: BrickOS on Mac OS X (restarted ?)

(...) It seems like MacNQC can be used to download a new firmware on the RCX: (URL) you didn't, you should give it a try. I also had problems downloading firmwares to the RCX through the USB tower with many utilities. Only NQC did it right. Please (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Pbforth probs

Hi. After reading the web pages, word lists, help, tutorials, I still wonder how to control SERVO MOTORS with PBForth. I tried the SERVO_SET command but it says "ABORTED (missing ;?)" Active - sensor needs power to operate Active sensor ports put out aproximately 7V most of the time, and drop the voltage (every 3ms?) (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Sensor inputs of RCX

Hi, I'm interested in the electronical function of the three sensor inputs of the RCX. I took an osilloscope and measured the voltage of the ports. So I got to know that a rectangular signal is put on the sensor ports when they are activated by (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

BrickOS on Mac OS X (restarted ?)

11 months ago, there was a thread in this newsgroup dealing with the implementation of BrickOS on Mac OS X. I was just wondering whether the situation had changed since then. I've downloaded M.
