(...) BricxCC works with XP and both IR towers. The USB tower works with XP. You can get just the USB tower from Pitsco, but I do not know if you can get just the USB tower from LEGO. Thanks go to Michael Obenland for pointing out a problem with compiling under the new gcc versions. This caused me to recognize that I failed to include 5 of the latest file versions in 10.5. (...) Great. My method was to combine the motor outputs down to two axles (left & right) and then do the gearing down/up. Now the question to answer before I totally tear down and rebuild a complete robot is; will adding an additional 2 motors to help in forward and reverse (...)
