Strange. I got my cygwin through the cygnus site, but as far as i can tell it's the same as the one on arthurdent. Mine comes from one of the mirrors on ftp://go.cygnus.com/...n/latest/. It is quite possible that there is a versioning problem here. The cygwin on arthurdent is reasonably new (August?), but not exactly cutting edge. (...) Yes, you are right. I have the char delay to about 10 or 20 msec and the line delay at 100msec. Remember that your monitor and other IR sources may interfere with comms to the RCX. Vlad, why don't you write a graphical FSM generator? Textbook FSMs are quite powerful, but in practice, states and transitions are usually augmented with enter/hold/leave actions. Some people have been reporting an "Error of Type II" when they try to install ROBOLAB onto a machine with OS9.
