(...) Probably not, depending on how your write your code. The Master will send data on the MOSI pin, and the slave will receive on the MOSI pin, so that would be straight through cable. (...) It's in the 68HC11 reference manual. Not hard, but I don't think any handyboard library routines have been written to queue up bytes to be streamed out. I just got a handyboard and have been playing with it. I would like to maybe network a couple of miniboards to it for expansion using the SPI. So: 1) how does one drive the SPI, software wise? (...) This command line has two errors. First, it should be "-256", not "-216". Second, do NOT use the "-mb" flag. This is for the Mini Board---not the Handy Board. Also, you can try dl.exe. Good question. In principle, the answer is yes. The base requirements for running IC are the 6811, 32K ram, and a serial port. Thanks to Chuck McManis' pointer, I found Ray Butts' web page. He makes a 68HC11E1 + 32K RAM + MAX232 computer he calls the Tcomp for about $60. Would IC run on this machine?
